Azores Pineapples blend in with Santini's Gelati in Lisbon

This holiday season,  PROFRUTOS - Azores Pineapple Cooperative- joined with Santini's Gelati in Lisbon in creating two flavors where the main ingredient is the tasty pineapple of the Azores. The meeting between  Azorean pineapples (a fruit that takes two years to grow) and Santini, an ice cream parlor rich in tradition right in the Chiado, resulted in the traditional Azorean Pineapple sorbet and a new ice cream - Crumble Azores Pineapple - which are on sale at Santini Cascais, Santini  Chiado and Carcavelos. On sale while supplies last!
