Opened in July 2008 Ponta Delgada's “Portas do Mar” combines docking zones for cruise ships and vessels linked to the connections of passengers and vehicles between the islands, besides support places to nautical activities, commercial areas and outdoor events and varied initiatives with lots of open space and nautical vistas.
