Faial’s Sea Week, Semana do Mar, will take place from August 1^st to the 10^th with a range of activities taking place in Baía da Horta, the Canal - 2014 between Faial and Pico, and the Bay of Porto Pim (Horta).

The events naturally include several sea-related sports like regattas from cruises and whale boats, rowing competitions, kayak and canoeing, jet-ski, swimming, water polo, fishing and many other fun ways to hit the sea.

Music, exhibitions and local traditions, as well as local cuisine, are also part of this 10-day event that attracts visitors from all over promising a “dive into a sea of emotions.”
