A Serenada: Newly Renovated Inn, set in the Coastal Alentejo Wine Country, offers 2 new suites to celebrate the 2015 Harvest
Grândola, Portugal –The 2015 wine harvest has begun, and wine-country inn A Serenada is celebrating with two all new suites. Both offer a private balcony with panoramic views over the half-century old wine estates.
The decoration is unique in each suite: Cork, tiles and marble are some of the local materials used that celebrate the landscapes of the Alentejo. Also, all rooms are equipped with microwave, toaster, electric kettle and other nice touches. A cozy fireplace offers a touch of romance for the coming autumn nights.
A Serenada, according to Telma Pereira, manager at the wine inn, is a perfect choice for those “seeking tranquility, getting in touch with nature and enjoying good wines.” A Serenada, she says can be defined as “having a boutique spirit to it that is linked to the way it produces its wine Serras de Grândola and welcomes its guests”.
Being an inn with its own winery, guests can visit its wine cellars and enjoy wine tastings. The 23-acre property is surrounded by vineyards that result in the wines Serras de Grândola and Serras de Grândola Cepas Cinquentenárias. It has a total of four rooms and the 2 suites that offer total privacy and comfort to the guests who visit A Serenada.
For breakfast guests can expect a full buffet with regional products and homemade treats made from local products. A Serenada offers a pool, library, balconies and panoramic terraces.
Some of famed beaches of the Alentejo Coast, like Comporta or Carvalhal, are located in its proximities. Also the historic villages of Grândola and Santiago do Cacém are great for those who want to visit and explore the Alentejo. www.serenada.pt
