Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort is the IAGTO European Golf Resort of the Year

Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort, Óbidos, Portugal has been named the 2016 European Golf Resort of the Year.

The award of European Golf Resort of the Year is voted for by 589 specialist golf travel Tour Operators, who are members of the International Association of Golf Tour Operators, based in no fewer than 61 countries worldwide.

Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort is located on Portugal’s west coast, a mere 45 minutes from Portugal’s capital city of Lisbon, situated in a privileged location nestling between the Atlantic Ocean and Óbidos Lagoon offering truly stunning views throughout.

The resort’s 18 hole championship golf course is the very last design by golfing legend Severiano Ballesteros.
