Starwood Hotels & Resorts is expanding in Portugal with the new Sheraton Cascais Resort. The hotel - previously Vivamarinha Hotel & Suites - in a great location near the Atlantic, just a 30 drive from Lisbon and 1.2 miles from the beach at Praia do Guincho. 

With 138 rooms and suites, the hotel will feature a signature restaurant, two bars and a variety of leisure facilities: a modern and fully equipped fitness center, an outdoor pool and a spa with six treatment rooms, and an exclusive area of hydrotherapy.

With a perfect location for golfers, the Sheraton Cascais has seven of the best golf courses in Portugal just a few minutes away. In addition, there are several multifunctional meeting rooms with a maximum capacity of 150 people for corporate clients. This resort will increase the Sheraton footprint in Portugal - complementing the existing Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & Spa and the Sheraton Porto Hotel & Spa.

The hotel management will be of United Investments Portugal (UIP) responsibility, which also owns the Pine Cliffs, a Luxury Collection Resort, situated in the Algarve. The property will join the Sheraton brand on February 24^th under the franchise agreement with Starwood.
