April 09, 2016
Four Portuguese beaches - Praia da Marinha, Praia da Falésia, Praia da Adraga and Praia de Odeceixe - made the cut of the nine most beautiful beaches in the Iberian Peninsula, according to Condé Nast Traveler.
At the Praia da Marinha in Lagoa, Algarve, the magazine points to rock formations and the clear and calm Atlantic waters, saying that it is one of the best beaches in Europe and ... the world!
As for the golden sands of the Praia da Falésia, in the area of Albufeira (Algarve), the magazine says that the name comes from the cliffs that border the beach, while the Praia da Adraga, in the area of Sintra, there is the natural beauty and the great waves for surfing, as well as the beauty of sunsets over the endless Atlantic.
The magazine points to the magnificent Odeceixe Beach in Alzejur (Algarve), saying that its undeveloped cliffs are a lure to surfers.
