When visiting Lisbon there’s one thing you don’t want to miss: the famous “miradouros” – or scenic viewpoint. What makes a "miradouro" worth a visit? Usually "miradouros" combine high points in the city, sun, and beautiful scenery. São Pedro de Alcântara, Graça, Nossa Senhora do Monte and Santa Catarina – commonly known as O Adamastor – are some strategic (and sometimes hidden) best ways to see the sunny Lisbon.
If the Lisbon’s “miradouros” are no secret for you, you have to meet the most recent one. Standing right in the center of the “business Lisbon,” the Amoreiras 360º Panoramic View, sits on top of 18-floors Amoreiras Shopping Center, and offers a panoramic view of Lisbon - and beyond. There aren’t any benches, chairs, gardens or bars – with the focus only being
the 360º view of the landscape.
To celebrate the new “miradouro”, the shopping center will offer discounts and a live performance with free admission to the view on opening day – Friday April, 29th. From this day on, the access is made from the first floor by lift, with the tickets costing 5 euros per person.
