The Algarve had three travel films won promotion awards at the 5th edition of the international film festival Finisterra Arrábida Film Art & Tourism, among the 232 films from 64 countries. The award ceremony took place  in Sesimbra.
 
"Algarve - sharing the secret" a film by Edge Productions, took third place  in the category Beach & Sea Tourism. 
 
 

 Two Algerian movies were also awarded. "Legends of Santa Maria de Faro and St. Thomas Aquinas," an RTA project and the City Faro, won second place in the category Religious Tourism.. The film "Columbus Cocktail & Wine Bar" in Faro, won the first prize in the category Wine Tourism.
 
The Finisterra Arrábida Film Art & Tourism Festival is organized by Arrábida Film Commission in order to disseminate the region of Arrábida in the film world and reward films and audiovisual productions that promote best practices in the tourism sector.
