Turismo de Portugal and Portugal Ventures Program launch “+ Heritage + Tourism" grants

Turismo de Portugal and Portugal Ventures have launched the program “+ Heritage + Tourism" to stimulatestartups and new businesses associated with tourism and enhancement of the cultural and natural heritage of Portugal.
Applications are open through July 31, and participants must submit their projects on the website of Portugal Ventures.
With a total value of 10 million euros, the program “+ Heritage + Tourism" will examine and evaluate the proposals of the candidates and give them funding up to a maximum amount of 500 thousand euros.
Projects must have as essential objective of enjoyment of the cultural and natural heritage of the country, highlighting aspects such as history, art, architecture, religious heritage, wine tourism and cuisine, sports associated with nature or geotourism. Another objective is to support the development of innovative products and services, at global, national or regional.
