CP Portuguese Rail now sells train tickets via smart phone app

CP - Portuguese Rail has a new app that lets its passengers purchase tickets for Alfa Pendular and Intercity trains via mobile device.

This app allows passengers to plan and purchase travel on all Alfa Pendular and Intercity trains as well as connections for these trips on Regional trains. It also includes the ability to purchase multiple tickets simultaneously, as well seating. And, passengers can search for trains based on the nearest station through georeferencing.

With the launch of this app comes with new online timetables of all CP trains as well as the option to receive alerts and information CP.

The CP app is free and is available for both operating system iOS and Android.
