The best patanisca in Lisbon is here

During the Fish Festival in Lisbon, that happened this year on April 5th to 15th, a competition takes place to find out where is the best patanisca in town.

Patanisca

Patanisca is a fried steak made out of codfish, mixed with onion some parsley, flour and eggs. Typical from Portugal, it can be served as an appetizer or as a meal combined with tomato watered rice.

With some twists, 10 local restaurants took their best version of the product to a jury this year, composed by event organizers and cuisine specialists, that decided to nominate the restaurant D'Bacalhau, in Parque das Nações, as the best patanisca maker in town.

From the third place last year, the restaurant climbed in the rank, making justice to its name: of codfish (de bacalhau)
