Sagres Vacations specializes in experiential tours of Spain and Portugal, giving locals a unique look at art, history, and natural beauty of the Iberian Peninsula. The Photo Tour of Portugal with Pete Souza will take visitors from north to south and include meals, deluxe transportation and lodging, and a local, English-speaking tour guide. Periodically throughout the trip, travelers will have hands-on workshop as a group with Souza to discuss the photographs they have taken and collaborate on how to take great photos on upcoming legs of the trip.

Beginning in Porto, a private guide will show you historically significant sites and unique spots for taking in the local culture. From there, the tour will take a trip down the Douro Valley where travelers will explore the vineyards and learn about the region’s legendary Port wine. The tour travels south, stopping at fishing towns and medieval villages to arrive in Lisbon. Known as the city of good light, it lends itself to beautiful pictures. Rolling hills emerge from the harbor and provide wonderful views of the city and its well-known ceramic rooftops. Historic architecture and World Heritage sites are on the itinerary. The tour culminates in the Azores, where lush green mountains and volcanic craters create grand scenery. These locales provide ample opportunity for beautiful photographs, made all the more stunning when taken with the assistance of a trained eye. http://www.sagresvacations.com/itenerary/en/525
