It is this message - to live, dream and experience “Madeira In Another Way” is shared through the videos, released this week on Discover Madeira’s social media.

This is followed by 11 short films of thrill seeking activities and cultural experiences, which can be enjoyed in Madeira and Porto Santo, which will be published throughout April and May. As well as nine immersive visuals  that will run alongside the videos. The theme is always “Madeira In Another Way. Dream Online, Visit Us Later, Madeira Will Still Be Here”

Communication will be reinforced in an informative and inspirational way, through a planned social media content calendar (Facebook, Instrgram and YouTube), and also display advertising, using the communication outlets of the island. All materials will direct visitors to Madeiraallyear.com website for all the travel information. They also will offer live stream videos through social media and networks, following residents of Madeira, who in first person will show the heart of the Island through experiences and activities. The campaign is aimed at Madeira’s  top foreign markets, segmented by the interests of each of the different countries.

The campaign “Stay at Home. Dream online. Visit us later!” comes after the State of Alert decreed by the Regional Government of Madeira and the Government of the Republic in mid-March and which forced the destination to close its doors to tourism, due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

Madeira Promotion Bureau’s President of the board, Eduardo Jesus, pointed out the positive reaction to the first phase of the campaign, having this reached more than 13 million people. Despite the ongoing pandemic, “we must keep the idea of hope alive within our key markets, with appropriate campaigns according to the current circumstances.” With the second phase of Madeira Promotion Bureau’s campaign, with the slogan Dream Online,“we continue to keep the destination alive and remember the unique character that this region has, from the mountains and the sea to our wonderful history, people and culture. We are enthusiastic to show our visitors that, despite knowing us for a while, everything in Madeira and Porto Santo continues, with its splendor, waiting for a next visit.”
