Update on US Travel to Portugal

This is from the Portuguese Consulate; According to Order No. 6756-C / 2020, of June 30, the following people can enter Portugal:
- Portuguese and other European Union citizens,
- Citizens of other countries (including Americans) who are family members (parents, children and spouses) of Portuguese or EU nationals,
- Citizens of other countries (including Americans) with legal residence in Portugal,
- For citizens of other countries (including Americans) who wish to travel for professional, study, family reunion or health reasons, as they may be subject to the principle of reciprocity, they should contact the airline they travel with to find out if they can travel and under what conditions.
IMPORTANT: All passengers must present, at the time of departure, proof of the COVID-19 test, with a negative result, performed up to 3 days before departure. Portuguese citizens and others with legal residence in Portugal will, however, be able to perform this test on arrival in Portugal (bearing the costs).
These conditions will remain in effect until July 15th (may or may not be extended).
